The IMAGER 5006 laser scanner developed by Zoller+Froehlich GmbH (Z+F) continues the successful IMAGER scanner series.
Configuration
Maximum portability of the IMAGER 5006 is achieved through a logical and functional design. Its essential components are a control panel, a replaceable and rechargeable battery, an internal hard drive, a USB data interface, as well as network connections, an optional power supply and Ethernet in a non-rotating scanner base. Moreover, the scanner is equipped with an electronic 2-axis compensator.
Working with the scanner
The operation of the IMAGER 5006 is carried out directly using the combined keyboard-display. The received data is stored on the internal hard disk.
For outdoor use, the IMAGER 5006 is equipped with Bluetooth and Ethernet interfaces, so you can use a PDA, laptop or PC. The user can control the IMAGER 5006 with the "Scan over IP" function via the Internet (and also keep track of software updates). These options provide even greater system mobility.
Data collection / Quality
IMAGER 5006 offers extended range up to 79 meters. The IMAGER 5006 opens up new areas of application for laser scanning with its increased distance and higher dot density.
The laser scanner provides high quality data - high accuracy of angles and distances. The data acquisition process is very fast and the results are absolutely accurate (in millimeter range).
Data can be stored directly on the internal hard drive, allowing you to work without external devices.
60GB of memory is enough for 2 days of intensive scanning.
It is possible to transfer data to a laptop / PC via Ethernet, data transfer to an external drive can be done by USB.
