The RIEGL LMS-Z620 Ground Scanning System consists of a 3D laser scanner, a high resolution digital camera and RiSCAN PRO software. This system provides scanned and digital photographic data, which can then be processed automatically or semi-automatically. The result of processing these data can be triangulated surfaces with superimposed color textures and high-resolution panoramic images.
The RIEGL LMS-Z620 Scanning System is a rugged and portable scanner specifically designed for fast data acquisition even in harsh environments. It is a combination of wide field of view, very high range and high performance.
The scanner is controlled using a standard laptop with RiSCAN PRO software installed, which allows scanning and digital photography data acquisition, data logging, imaging, primary post-processing, and data import and export functions.
Applications of the scanning system:
Topography and mine surveying
executive shooting
Monitoring
Shooting archaeological sites and cultural heritage sites
Architecture and measurement of building facades
